Scott Genius LT 700 Tuned Bike Review
Scott Genius LT 700 Tuned Bike Review- has the same layout neat frame with standard Genius and
Spark. but Scott has managed to squeeze 170 mm (6.7 in) travel to the design of
the cover -Link swing. It is one of the most experienced users of carbon in the
business, and it shows in the chassis, which is lighter than many short trips
frame.
Heading pipette, rear brakes, remote shock and gear cables
routed internally, although SRAM drivetrain X01 installed here doesnt need
them. LT is generous too long, enduro style 66 - degree head angle and a
wheelbase of 1,200mm. Reversing a shock mount chip in the BB raised 7mm and a
half degree angle steepens to feel more 'trail bike' like.
There is big news in terms of the ability of the full
gravity of the gas in the form of the new Fox 36 fork extends to 170mm of
travel to match the twin- chamber Nude shock. Both are associated with the same
remote lever, with Reverb Stealth dropper post button to add another cable to
the front end cradle cat. Transmission SRAM shifters X01 means only, so there
is plenty of space in width, 35mm diameter carbon bar .
Production Bike
Should get the latest Shimano XTR brakes
M9020 , but we still have a sample of older, heavier, all - metal version of
the M985. Scott owned Syncros provide AM1.5 carbon rimmed wheels pimpy, short
50mm stem and Ti - railed saddle, while of Schwalbe Hans Dampfs and razor stone
that adds grip front and rear speed respectively. Ride and handling : a real
turn speed
It is the speed of LT that really will take you by surprise
if you've ridden other bikes 170mm - the 12kg Scott leap forward and bring in
hard acceleration even with relatively mild pressure on the crank. Although it
can wallow a bit in the full journey, click remote closing part of the space
for a firmer shock 110mm ( 4.3in ) travel arrangements nice to put the power
down. Two clicks gives you full front and rear lockout for efficiency smooth
trail. Add pedal permission from the high B and LT are impressive climbers.
Behind, Stone Razor Hans Dampf rubber helps ensure Genius is
no slouch Not surprisingly, this speed is brought through to the
singletrack as well, and Scott was a lot of fun to hustle along a winding road
riding - and - fall of Bootleg Canyon. Firmer, race inspired damping for 2015
also makes the bike more level and balanced when cornering.
LT still feels more like a mid- than long bike ride when
marching through the big things , but now you can feel what it does and the
hard drive rather than wallowing about in the slurry unless your in Traction
mode. Slippery Rock Razor rear also help offset the lightweight flexible frame
and high ride height, with a start to drift out before it feels like the bike
may highside you.
